PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN GIGI TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KESEHATAN GIGI PADA SISWA SD NEGERI KLEDOKAN

Background: Dental health is something that must be done by everyone, especially for children who still have decidui. School age is a time when children like to eat food according to what they like, but lack of motivation in doing dental care. This behavior arises because of the child's lack of knowledge about the importance of dental care. One of the nurse's role as promotive is by conducting dental health education

Research Objectives: This research helps to determine the effect of dental health education on the level of elementary school students about dental health knowledge in Kledokan.

Research method: This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research using One Group Pretest Posttest research design. The population in this study were students in grades 3, 4 and 5 at SD Negeri Kledokan. The sample in this study were 77 students. Data collection tools using a questionnaire and data analysis using the Wilcoxon test

Conclusion: there is an effect of dental health education on the level of dental health knowledge in SD Negeri Kledokan
