PENGARUH TERAPI MUROTTAL TERHADAP PERUBAHAN TEKANAN DARAH PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISIS DI UNIT HEMODIALISA RS BHAYANGKARA POLDA DIY

Background: Hemodialysis is a high-tech renal replacement therapy to remove metabolic waste. The most common complication in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis is hypertension. One of the non-pharmacological therapies to reduce blood pressure is murottal Al-Qur'an therapy. Based on the results of pre-dialysis blood pressure measurements in 6 patients undergoing hemodialysis at the study site, the average BP was 140/90 mm Hg and all patients received blood pressure lowering therapy, namely Amlodipine 10 mg.

Research Objectives: To determine the effect of murottal therapy on changes in blood pressure of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at the Hemodialysis Unit of Bhayangkara Hospital Polda DIY.

Research Methods: This type of research is pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest. The population in this study is all patients with chronic kidney failure who underwent routine hemodialysis at the Hemodialysis Unit of Bhayangkara Hospital Polda DIY with a total of 18 patients. The number of samples in this study were 14 patients. Sampling technique uses consecutive sampling, the data analysis uses the paired t-test.

Conclusion: There is an effect of murottal therapy on changes in systolic blood pressure of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at the Hemodialysis Unit of Bhayangkara Hospital Polda DIY.
