Abstract
Background: Garbage is still an environmental problem in Indonesia, where the presence of a number of boarding students contributes to the generation of waste.
Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge level and waste management behavior of boarding students in RW 04, Dusun Tambak Bayan.
Methods: This type of research is quantitative using descriptive analytic method, cross sectional design. The population in this study were boarding students in RW 04, Dusun Tambak Bayan. The technique used in sampling is stratified random sampling. Total population 253 people, sample 155 people. Data collection tools using a questionnaire and data analysis using the Spearman rank test.
Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge level and waste management behavior of boarding students in RW 04, Dusun Tambak Bayan, Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman
